VICTORY News: Israel Update

Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, VICTORY News reports Rep. Jack Bergman formally requested that Rep. Rashida Tlaib be censured for antisemitic remarks. When asked and followed by reporters for a comment on the request, Tlaib refused to comment.

Critics continue to criticize the Biden administration concerning the seemingly slow response to the attacks on Israel. They are comparing it to the poor withdraw from Afghanistan. Rep. Harriet Hageman this of the administration, “They spend all their time distancing themselves from making decisions and then when something goes wrong, they spend their time placing the blame on someone else.”

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, was present in Israel and by Benjamin Netanyahu’s side for a press conference in Israel today. He said, “You (Israel) may be strong enough to defend yourself, but as long as America exists you will never, ever have to. We (the U.S.) will always be by your side.”

The extraction of Americans from the Gaza Strip has been seemingly nonexistent until today. Tourists trying to flee the country were relieved to receive help from Rep. Cory Mills. When he was called on for help, because the State Department was not returning calls, he took matters in his own hands and traveled to Israel using his own resources to bring home a group of 32 people. However, there are still hundreds of people in need of aid to get out of the country.

As Israel continues to assemble tanks and heavy artillery in preparation for their ground attack, a children’s hospital in Ashelon, Israel, was attacked by Muslim terrorists.

Hamas claims that because of Israeli strikes, four hostage lives have been taken. Israel stands firm in their stance that no one will leave Gaza until the hostages are returned.
