Two Israeli diplomats, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were shot and killed Wednesday night by a pro-Hamas sympathizer as they left an event in Washington, D.C. Prior to the shooting, the suspect, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez of Chicago, was observed pacing back and forth outside of the museum. After the shooting, Rodriguez was apprehended by security guards as he tried to enter the museum, reportedly shouting, “Free, free, free Palestine.” He is now in custody.
