Millions in central Israel were forced to take shelter overnight due to a Houthi ballistic missile fired from Yemen. IDF air defense intercepted the missile before it reached Israeli airspace and there were no reports of injuries from falling fragments. Benjamin Netanyahu told press that progress has been made with ongoing mediated hostage talks with Hamas in Gaza. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz publicly confirmed that the IDF is responsible for the assassination of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran.
