The IDF has recovered the body of Israeli hostage Youssef Ziyandne and possibly the remains of his son in a tunnel in southern Gaza. The 53-year-old was abducted by Hamas along with his three children during the October 7th attacks. Youssef’s daughters were released as a part of the hostage release that occurred in November 2023.
