Antisemitic protests continue to increase on American college campuses. While being booed and hearing antisemitic chants shouted at him, House Speaker Mike Johnson addressed a crowd at Columbia University, stating, “To all those who gnash their teeth and demand to wipe the state of Israel off the map…neither Israel nor these Jewish students on this campus will ever stand alone.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reminded the world of the pre-World War II atmosphere in Germany, saying, “This is reminiscent of what happened in German universities in the 1930s.
