Anti-Jewish Protests Disrupt the First Day of Fall Classes at Columbia University

Anti-Israel protests resume at Columbia University and Barnard College on Tuesday during the first day of the fall semester resulting in the arrest of at least two demonstrators. These protests echoed the chaotic anti-Israel protests of the spring semester. Despite efforts by the universities to address hate and enhance security, tensions are still high as well as fears of continued disruptions.
