We know that Hamas currently has 200+ Israeli hostages…and we are determined to respond from a position of faith. The Lord declares in Deuteronomy 7:6 (New International Version) that the people of Israel are His people. “For you [Israel] are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.” When the people of Israel, God’s chosen people, enter a fight, we in America and in the Body of Christ are in the fight with them.
Pastor George shared how God has specifically given Eagle Mountain International Church an assignment from Him for this time. We are to pray that the men, women and children who have been taken hostage by the Hamas regime will be returned to their homes. We must stand in faith with all those who have been affected by this horrific situation. God is angry with those who are leading this, and we believe that He will see to it that His people come home and that those responsible are held accountable. He will give them an opportunity to either call out to Him, asking for His forgiveness and mercy, or experience His wrath. Our job is to exercise our faith in the earth regarding this tragedy.
We are standing, believing that these people will be released by God Himself! When Paul was in prison, the miraculous happened. The walls shook and men were released from their captivity. We are not physically in the Middle East or in a natural position of authority that allows us to be involved in the earthly negotiations, but what Hamas does not know is that we, as the Body of Christ, possess all authority in heaven and in earth. We, as well as our Jewish brothers and sisters, have a covenant with God. We therefore have the right to invoke that covenant by standing on the Word of God by faith.
So, by faith we stand with our Israeli brothers and sisters. By faith we declare His goodness. By faith we declare that what He says is the final authority in this situation. We will see the end of this barbaric and demonic demonstration of the evil from the kingdom of darkness. We will see the deliverance of the hostages in Israel; their captors have no choice.
We stand on the truth in the following scriptures, and we believe what they say about God’s promises for Israel. Hear the voice of the Lord as you stand in faith with the body of Christ and Israel.
HAMAS WILL LET GOD’S PEOPLE GO!
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I will give a signal to the godless nations. They will carry your little sons back to you in their arms; they will bring your daughters on their shoulders. Kings and queens will serve you and care for all your needs. They will bow to the earth before you and lick the dust from your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD. Those who trust in me will never be put to shame.” Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go? But the LORD says, “The captives of warriors will be released, and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved. For I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children. I will feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood. All the world will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel” (Isaiah 49:22-26, NLT).
Soon all you captives will be released! Imprisonment, starvation, and death will not be your fate! For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea, causing its waves to roar. My name is the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. And I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely in my hand. I stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. I am the one who says to Israel, “You are my people!” (Isaiah 51:14-16, NLT).
This is the message the LORD gave concerning Israel and Judah. This is what the LORD says: “I hear cries of fear; there is terror and no peace. Now let me ask you a question: Do men give birth to babies? Then why do they stand there, ashen-faced, hands pressed against their sides like a woman in labor? In all history there has never been such a time of terror. It will be a time of trouble for my people Israel. Yet in the end they will be saved! For in that day,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will break the yoke from their necks and snap their chains. Foreigners will no longer be their masters. For my people will serve the LORD their God and their king descended from David— the king I will raise up for them. So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,” says the LORD. “For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and no one will terrorize them” (Jeremiah 30:4-10, NLT).
“I will make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. Then they will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear. I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing. The orchards and fields of my people will yield bumper crops, and everyone will live in safety. When I have broken their chains of slavery and rescued them from those who enslaved them, then they will know that I am the LORD. They will no longer be prey for other nations, and wild animals will no longer devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will frighten them. And I will make their land famous for its crops, so my people will never again suffer from famines or the insults of foreign nations. In this way, they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them. And they will know that they, the people of Israel, are my people, says the Sovereign LORD. You are my flock, the sheep of my pasture. You are my people, and I am your God. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!” (Ezekiel 34:25-31, NLT).
Three days later, when David and his men arrived home at their town of Ziklag, they found that the Amalekites had made a raid into the Negev and Ziklag; they had crushed Ziklag and burned it to the ground. They had carried off the women and children and everyone else but without killing anyone (1 Samuel 30:1-2, NLT).
David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God. [KJV—David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.] Then he said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring me the ephod!” So Abiathar brought it. Then David asked the LORD, “Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the LORD told him, “Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!” (1 Samuel 30:6-8, NLT).
David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels. David got back everything the Amalekites had taken, and he rescued his two wives. Nothing was missing: small or great, son or daughter, nor anything else that had been taken. David brought everything back (1 Samuel 30:17-19, NLT).
“If you refuse to release them and continue to hold on to them, I’m giving you fair warning: GOD will come down hard…” (Exodus 9:2-3, MSG).
“For if you refuse to let them go and still hold them, behold, the hand of the LORD will fall…” (Exodus 9:2-3, ESV).

“Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.
