On May 25, Eagle Mountain International Church joined the Fort Worth Jewish community to show their support for Israel at a rally in downtown Fort Worth. Over 200 people showed up to wave Israeli and American flags and hear from prominent members of our community about the importance of supporting Israel at this crucial time.
Dignitaries in attendance included Mayor Betsy Price; Rabbi Andrew Bloom from Ahavath Shalom Synagogue; Barry Abels, the new head of the Fort Worth Jewish Federation; and Chuck Kaufman, president of B’nai B’rith International. Joining them were local rabbis, pastors and Fort Worth city council members.
In addition to supporting Israel, the rally served as an opportunity to stand up against intensified antisemitism throughout the world over the last three weeks. Eagle Mountain International Church was proud to stand with its Jewish brothers and sisters and make sure that they know they are loved and not alone!
